The Bar and Bat Mitzvah is a sacred and meaningful milestone in Jewish life. Through this moment of celebration, Mitzvahs for Angels will connect American Bar and Bat Mitzvah families with Israeli families who were unable to celebrate, or who are honoring the memory of a child lost on October 7th. By linking these milestones and creating an individualized experience for every family, we transform pain into hope and create enduring, heartfelt connections rooted in remembrance, compassion, and shared Jewish responsibility.

Choose Milestone
Once you have decided to move forward with Mitzvahs for Angels, we will pull together a list of potential Israeli families that would like to connect along with all details for this unique experience.

Meet Your Angel
We will meet with your family several times before your bar/bat mitzvah weekend to go over any final details of the weekend. This may include a meeting with your Rabbi or Cantor in person or through a Zoom call. Your family will also have the opportunity to FaceTime with the Israeli family that we have connected you to.
